David is a visiting Fellow Cranfield University and Coach at 'Be the Business'.

David is a Chartered Engineer and a Fellow of The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) where he has held a number of Board level positions including Chair of the IET Council, where he led a multi-national group from across the world to provide advice and assistance to the Board of Trustees. Alongside this, he has also held Board level roles in the Engineering Council as the Deputy CEO as well as in the nuclear/aerospace private sectors providing leadership in developing and delivering their strategies. Based very much on an open and collaborative approach, he has also success coached and mentored fellow Board members over a number of years with the Coast to Capital LEP and ‘Be the Business’.

David has also been delivering leadership training since the late 80’s and his years of experience are matched only by his passion for new techniques and approaches to developing both the experienced and newer managers. From theories and practices gained through Ashridge Business School and the Institute for Manufacturing (IfM), University of Cambridge he has a breadth of fantastic strategies and tactics to offer leaders.
